My inspiration to come to China and study Kung Fu was from a documentary that I saw called “Dragon Girl”. It was about kids who studied Kung Fu at the Tagou school. Iwas fascinated because this life was so different than my own life and being 42 years old, my path in life has mostly happened already. I want to know what this Kung Fu life was like....

The Qufu school website helped me to make my decision to come to this school. There were do many videos about the students that I thought “this is a real school and I can really go there”. The video about how to get to the school from Beijing was very reassuring.
The student life feels like a good balance between study and free time. I chose to attend a lot the Tai Chi and Mandarin classes while I was here too. I enjoyed going to the dumpling shop on Friday nights and into town on Saturday with the other students. I went swimming one Sunday and chose to train on another.
Master Du was patient, skilled and very knowledgeable. His class were well planned and implemented. Overall the school facilities and experience met my expectations the food is ok but good enough. The bed was hard but acceptable. If I have another opportunity to come back I will.
I will recommend this school to my friends who also study martial arts. I also enjoyed the cultural experience of talking with other students. I have enjoyed my stay here.
Thank you
