I’ve really enjoyed my time here at the school. It’s hard to believe only a month has gone by and now that I am at the tail end of my stay here I can reflect on all that I have learned. Training here has really pushed my body to the limit and my only regret is not being able to stay longer to see how far that same limit can be pushed. My Shifu (Shi Yan Jiong) is a very dedicated and talented individual who was always there to encourage, correct and cause much more pain! My mind also has found a greater peace from our training in Qi Gong and T’ai Chi which, along with my other training, is definitely going to become a regular morning ritual. After onnly a month I feel more in balance with my body and my overall flexibility and strength has cetainly improved greatly. The other students here have also become some of my favourite people and I’ll hopefully stay in contact with them after I leave. My only advice for prospective students would be to give everything you have to give to the training and that little bit more and you will in turn earn the respect of your Shifu. Most importantly though; enjoy your stay here!...
