The master is very knowledgeable and patient, and he explains all the little applications behind the movements, which makes it so much easier to remember the moves. He was also great at giving me breaks when I was too exhausted. The school is set in idyllic setting, with peaceful lakes and with kingfishers and beautiful Chinese buildings. The accommodation building is a bit more basic, but comfortable enough.
I would really recommend this school for people who've never tried Kung Fu before, however, be aware that a week is short and you'd better aim for at least a month. I stayed only a week and got a brief overview of the major aspects thanks to the master's all-round approach. It's also a much more peaceful place than the crowded school in the Shaolin Temple. The shcool in Qufu is a peaceful retreat and gives a more authentic experience.
