Apply nowI arrived at the school on the 11th September, it was very hot compared to England which took some time to adjust. Immediately I was welcomed by the friendly students by getting invited to get shown around the local City of Qufu. I declined as I was extremely jet lagged and just wanted to sleep.
When the training started on Monday, that's when I felt the most impressed. Impressed by the amount of attention of the masters you get and their expertise in Shaolin Kung Fu. I was also glad the amount of patients the monks have aswell and how they are eager to improve their English all the time.
There are translators on-site who are very helpful and willing to work around the clock even on weekends. Throughout the week the training is very tiring and your master will push you at your personal limits.
At the end of the week you get a good well deserved rest during the weekend were many students go to the City to relax. Most of the students go to the International Youth Hostel to relax on comfy chairs in a air-conditioned room which serves cheap drinks and food.
